Look even closer and you'll see the roadside monument for the two people killed when their pickup went off this curve and down the canyon. You see these monuments all the way down Baja. They are a sobering reminder of the risks of the road. I tend to ride pretty slowly along this stretch, it can get pretty busy with traffic, especially as you get closer to Loreto.
