Sunrise at Loretto, one of the neatest places along the Sea of Cortez. It's small enough to have a small town friendliness, but big enough to have some good resources.

A rare shot of the trail through the deep sand along the sand dunes above the beach. This is not an optimum place to stop, but I had stalled the bike here and wanted to grab a shot of this trail. I had just fought my way through miles of twisting deep sand single track through the cactus.

The best part is, when you get to the bottom you have great beach riding for miles and miles.

Sunset in La Paz. You're pretty much done with the outback of Baja at this point, so the sun is really setting on the high-adventure portions of the ride.
